How can I clean dining room chairs with material covering them?

I'm not sure if the material is cotton or something else, but how can I clean them? The material is dark colored and durable, so it's not silk, satin, or anyting like that.

Use a carpet and upholstery cleaner like woolite. Then use a hand vac or attachment from your upright to vaccuum the residue.

You can rent an upholstery cleaning machine from most grocery stores. Just make sure you test the fabric in a place that does not show, to make sure the fabric can be cleaned without fading.
If you can't get them clean, then you may be able to redo the seats, I did mine for less than $5.00 and they are perfect. All you need is about 2 yards of fabric(I got mine in clearance at Wal-Mart) and some tacks and a screw driver. It is simple to do. Good luck
