How to get stink out of summer shoes?
Neither did febreeze, even though it said "not recomended" for leather shoes.

try putting baking soda in the shoes and let them sit for a day or so.

next time, switch shoes often ie: don't wear the same pair every day.
Wash them in the washing machine. Air dry (solar powered dryer), no dryer.

Try baking soda or go to a sporting goods store and get the odor eater balls to go inside athletic shoes.
Use scented shoe powder, I use to work for a golf club adn thast what we were reguired to do. ( make sure golfers shoes smelled great: Just powder, talc powder that should do the trick easily.

I have found the best way is to use baking soda...it is a great deodorizer
Put a few drops of white vinegar in the bottom of your shoes every night. Also, soak your feet in vinegar water. There are several products you can order for stinky feet and shoes but it is best not to wear the same shoes every day so alternate your shoes, always wear clean socks (if you are wearing socks), and wash your feet regularly.

soak your feet with apple cider vinegar at night for at least 30 minutes for at least twice a week, you will see the results, vinegar has a lot of benefits: internally or externally...... just give it a try, i've done it and it works!
Put them in a plastic bag and throw them into the freezer overnight. Freezing will kill the bacteria that causes the odor. You can also try filling them with baking soda for a couple of days.
Get new ones. If they smell now they definitely will next summer. Are the shoes or sandals? If they are shoes try baking soda.
