how do you clean parquet flooring?
Answers:
Wipe with a rag that has been wetted with white spirit to remove any wax ( make sure there are no heat sources that could cause a fire and have windows open). Then clean the surface with a strong cleaner like Flash. Once dry refinish with Johnsons `Klear' floor surfacer or rewax if that's your preferred finish.
Other answers:
resand it , rewax it
resand it , rewax it
I had a whole house of parquet floors years ago. I used to wax it regularly and twice a year remove all the polish build up with wood soap, and then start again.
Never use liquid polish because it is so hard to remove.
