Answers: We had one and the same problem a few years ago until my parents came to call on. My father found me speaking to myself in the garden, ably more like shouting. Told him in the region of the cat's public toilet . So what he did was stretch a impressively thin telecommunication right across the front patch of garden where the cat's did their toilet. About a foot high from the ground, and the amazing entry was , the cats stop going near, I watched them, they did't be in motion under the chain and they did't jump over the rope. how about startle tactics, how far away is it from you, can you attain them with a dampen pistol or put a carrier daypack attached to stick which will make tumult, cats are creatures of habit and you hold to make this spot undesirable. what around covering it with mesh to stop access.

Are they in soil or mulch? Cats similar to to bury their poo, so they wont go within something that they can't scratch up. Some larger, patterned rocks will discourage them. My mother has have luck borrowing some dog poo from the neighbor and putting it in her garden. Gross, but cheap and assured.
I have also hear that cutting rose cane and putting them in your garden works, too. Cats don't approaching to step on the thorns. There is also a spray you can get at the pet store. Humans can't smell it, but cats Hate it. It wash off, though, so you enjoy to spray it every couple of days, after a rain, after a dewy morning, etc. Good luck.

At the larger garden shops/nurseries check out the product call "Liquid fence". It is available to keep adjectives kinds of 4-legged critters at inlet. There is one line of the product that will deter cats. We needed to use it before this Spring when a stray tom-cat used our large garage as his indoor toilet. It took repeated cleaning and spraying of the inside of the building, however, the tom-cat finally did not come backbone to do his dirty deeds.
