I would not personally use it on the tile in the bathroom.
I would use tile cleaner, and for the tile grout, I woudl use a gel pen from chlorox, to whiten the grout with.
Turpentine is a messy business, and is flamable, if someone smokes in the house and comes around you and starts fooling around,with a lit cigarrette..(yea, you always have the clowns).
Vinegar, is good for tile, to take scum off, or CLR if its a real bad case.
