Why is there so much dust in my house?

i clean a lot of dust,doing it right will cut down on those little bunnies. my fave & easiest is ,use a LAMBSWOOL dusters spray it geneously with endust & dust overhead & walls give funiture treatment with lots of endust or pledge with endust-get a microstatic clothe. spray generously.& wipe . do not use wax! the way your house sits toward the wind has alot to do with as well as these other comments-this will cut your dust more than half.

Prob too dry, get a humidifier. If you live on a dirt road or near railroad tracks, make sure you're well insulated and keep the windows closed.
Also, dust more often? Use moisturizer. (most dust is from your skin)
Some older houses are just dust collectors. Change the filters on the furnace often and getthe airducts cleaned out.

dust is made of dead skin cells... as we move abt, microscopic skin cells fall off and turn into dust when there is enough... so it depends on the human traffic of ur house...
Dust, dust, what to do with all this dust? No matter what I do or who I hire, the dust remains. Everytime I walk out the door I feel I am leaving my apartment in a cloud of dust. I'm wondering if it doesn't have something to do with cosmic dust. Perplexing.
I will stroll the hallowed halls of Walmart once again to see if they have something that can get rid of dust.

Dust is fine diort particals and there isn't much you can do to get rid of it. NOT totally anyway. We had a major road project going on m in town last year. We couldn't keep the dust /dirt out.
maybe you should get tanley clearners or you need to dust
