try give or take a few a quarter cup of lemon juice and a immense pinch of salt for a full size nouns of his shirts.
Have you tried with right old fashioned soap slab , soap? ( Natural Soap). I f you first soak the shirts in cold marine and rub the soap in, Leaving the shirt free from marine and the soap on, say 1/2 hr, wager on to cold water pass a rub to the stains. This time rub more soap on the shirt and pop straight away into your washing mechanism on a 40co normal rinse . Once done hang them outside if you can.

Get some Febreze and add to your laundry . I use anywhere to one cup to partly a cup.... and use some baking powder along with anything laundry detergent your using. And when you dry them if using a dryer.. use bounce.
Consider adding 1 cup of table saline to your wash.
it's simple & works existing well. I don't know if the
salted water harms the washer. I've be doing
this for 3 years without any problems.
Try count 1/4 C. of baking soda to the wash....baking soda is by far the cheapest and most potent way to neutralize odors. And best of adjectives, it won't interact with the detergent within the wash!
