Washing brand new clothes?
Answers:
I always wash them first. I agree with the funny smell from the store and I also do not know how many people have tried on those clothes before I bought them -- ick!
Other answers:
I usually wash them first because you don't know who has been trying them on in the store.

we always wash our's first.
I wash them more to get the unwanted creases out, especially in shirts
i usually wear them first..hmm never thought about it
I prefer to wash them too. Some new clothes have a funky smell from the dyes or packing material. I can soften them up by using Downy too. The only thing I don't wash before wearing are socks. They're usually safe from weird odors in the plastic bags they come in. I also use Tide Coldwater laundry soap. Saves money & my clothes get just as clean.
dude, it so much better to wash your clothes before you wear them. the clothes can be try on by soooo... many people in the store before bought them. NEVER wear new clothes before washing, trust me.
I wash mine.
A helpful hint here,, if you buy anything red or really bright like that, I always soak them for an hour or more in cold salt water to set the dye so they won't fade when I wash them later on.
I wash first before wearing . I don't know who has had the clothes on before me and I like a laundry fresh feel also .
Yes, Yes and Yes!
I wash my clothes because I think about all the people that tried on the particular items before me. I think it's just safe to wash before wearing.
This may be crazy but I do actually wear them new. I have bought so many things that have shrunk after washing that I cant wear them anymore. That's terrible isn't it?
I do, too, so that they can "defluff"in the first load. I also dont wash brighty colored new clothing with older ones until they have been washed a few times. red clothing is the worst culprit of spreading colors, so i tend to soak them before i wash them, to remove the excess dyes..
