does anyone no how to get cold red wax off a cream carpet ! help?
Answers:
Put some absorbent paper towels on top of the wax and then iron across it with a warm iron. The wax should melt and be absorbed by the paper towel. I've done the exact thing and it worked like a charm! I didn't even end up with a stain! Good luck!

I think you can take a towel and put it on the carpet, then take and iron on top of the towel.!!

Get a roll of (thick) paper towels and a steam iron. Place a couple paper towels on wax and place iron on steam setting on top for about 30-40 seconds. When the wax melts from the iron, it slowly transfers to the paper towel. You will have to repeat this process quite a few times but it works. Good luck with that!
Someone had fun last night;P
Although it may look like a permanent mess, spilled wax can be removed from a carpet with the help of a warm iron.
Steps:
1. Scrape away as much wax as you can. (Image 1)
2. Place a sheet of butcher paper, glossy side up, or a portion of a brown paper bag on top of the wax. (Image 2)
3. Press the tip of a warm iron gently over the affected area until the wax melts and attaches to the paper. (Image 3)
4. Lift the paper from the carpet.
5. Dab a small amount of denatured alcohol onto the stain if any candle dye is left on the carpet. (Image 4)
6. Sponge with water.
I had candle wax on my rug and I had a professional carpet cleaner come to clean the rug...he steamed the wax right out of there...
paper towels and a warm iron. keep moving the papertowel so wax wont go back in the carpet.
