If it's washable, just throw it within the laundry by itself and then use extra material sofetnener sheets to make it smell nice. That should do the trick.
febreez or spanking new bag
I'm beside Ellebee, try Febreeeze, it's a miracle product!
sprinkle with some plain baking soda later spray the fabreeze
Stop loaning it to your brother

Naw, seriously, Fabreeze
have you hear of a product called creolina? i'm not sure if its available everywhere, i pick it up at my local latin-market. anyway, a teaspoon of that diluted beside 1 c. water can disinfect and sanitize anything, and it kill odors too. i'd soak a rag within the solution described above and then wipe down the inside of the loads.
Here's an inexpensive and fragrance free solution that is great for backpack and much more.- I know many other populace that use it. It is a natural fragrance free carbon product call FRIDGE IT odor absorbers. It is a little purple cube next to an incredible activated carbon filter inside i.e. really, really, great and eliminates the odors and for a long time. It works so much better than baking soda adjectives those sprays, and fragrances that just cover up smells and doesn't bring back rid of them. Also, alot of sprays have restrictive statements about individual eye irritant. and gels and oil that say save away from fabric, pets, etc. and basically don't eliminate odors. Just put one or two inside backpack. No spills or chemicals or powder to verbs about. Each one and only costs a couple of dollars. I use this product everywhere including car(smoke and pet smells), storage, closets, my fridge and also under sinks, effective trash and have friends that use it on cat litter box and also diaper pails - it's that correct. I really recommend it. You can buy it in kitchen gadget section in stores similar to walmart and linens and things. I also think camp world sells it and Internet at customerservice@innofresh.com.
Definitely worth trying
