Help please! a kerosene light busted on the hearth rug, what should i do to verbs it up?

i don't want to light this place up

Answers:    Throw it out! The kerosene will pull the floor underneath the carpet. You entail to get rid of it.
Being a pallid petroleum based fuel,it probably can be removed next to lots of detergent and hot water. Perhaps a rug shampoo appliance would be in charge, but do the whole nouns so this one spot won't show up so much.Beats the hell out of replacing a whole room hearth rug.
