How do i take off rust on my stainless steal knife?

Answers:
I heard one time that you could use an onion to get the rust off of a knife. I am not quite sure though. It is worth a try. Good luck.

Ive never tried it, but I saw on tv that you could cut into an onion and that would make the rust come off.

Use coca-cola. The acid in it removes rust.
Use a very fine steel wool pad. Hold the knife under running water as you gently clean off the rust. By the way, stainless steel is not supposed to rust. How about getting a new knife?
First, your knife is not very stainless if it has rust.

You could try scrubbing it with a Steel Pot scrubber like brillo. But it will rust again unless you give it a thin coating of vegatable oil everytime you put it away.
Coke works on most depend on how long the rust has been there. If you us a grinder or a dremial tool it can basically sand the rust off.
WD-40? I know it breaks down rust.....
Use an SOS scrubbing pad and water.
Paste of lemon juice and salt. Rub in with a scrubbing pad. Rinse.
Get some steel wool pads and that should do it.
SOS pads will do it. Stainless shouldn't rust
