Kirby vacum cleaners?

My daughter moved out and she just brought a cheap vacuum and she complains in the region of it all the time, its no devout she would say..
powerfully you see she too use to using a Kirby, that other vacuums aren't as good..Kirby's own the best suction in the world... and they should variety them cheaper for people to buy who cant afford much....and also when getting them fixed or topical parts should also be cheaper...thank you..Rainy

Hate them with a devotion. You can read reviews on several different models at epinions.com. The reviewers are all existing people (I'm one of them, but haven't reviewed a Kirby).
We own an Ultimate we've had for several years. I imagine they're overpriced, but does a good opening cleaning. It came beside a carpet cleaner, which we've never used. It's a bit of a strain switching from the rug to the floor attachments, but you get used to it. The replacement stacks are really expensive, so we're looking for another source to buy them from. When the bag get full, it bugs me that the machine will slop over due to the weight of the pouch. Overall, we like it, but doubt we'd buy another one. But their salespeople - pushy, pushy, pushy!
I used a Kirby abundant years ago and didn't like it but they various have superior since then.
My favorite is Rainbow. It uses hose down not a bag filter. You enjoy to fill the dampen pan and untaken it each time you use it but it's worth it to me.
MANY years ago the Kirby's have metal parts (heavy machine) and they had talent. Since then, Kirby tried to generate the machine 'easier to handle' and build them cheaper. I never like them. Rainbow is a good standard machine. I hold an Electrolux that is immediately about 30 years behind the times and always have good luck next to it.
Now that I'm older & wiser; put contained by 'wood' laminate flooring and ceramic tiles beside throw rugs. MUCH easier to clean and markedly little allergy problems.
I have a G-3 that I own had for 15yrs. Other than it anyone heavy, I've have no problems with it. :)
