Which is better - supima or egyptian cotton?

i am buying towels and linens and am wondering which is softer, better. as well as, why they are different? appreciation!

Answers:    supima and egyptian cotton are exactly the same!! originally egyptian cotton died out because of a cotton plant virus. They import Pima Cotton seeds from Arizona and to be exact now what egyptian cotton is.

Pima cotton is a immensely long staple cotton so it can be spun finer. The finer the original thread is the finer the textile made from it is.

Supima is a brand name!!

the best towels are those that quality best to you. You might purchase one wash cloth, nick it home and wash it several times. If it is still as nice and soft as imaginative and this is what you want, get sets!!

the more thread count surrounded by other linens, the smoother the fabric!!
other depending on the weave of course!! A 300 count is 300 threads per inch. a 100 count is 100 threads per inch. the 300 will be a much tighter weave than the 100 and so smoother.
