Dow Scrubbing bubbles. Its all I use
I hate comet... I dont like the stuff it leaves behind....too much rinsing....
I promise if you ever start using Dow scrubbing bubbles you will never use anything else..
Has lots of other good uses also. Kitchen, floors, stove top, laundry.
You spray it on and wait just a few min, wipe off and nothing left behind...... GREAT STUFF!

Bleach tablets.......those work great. As for the tub, just keep it clean.

Try a formula called "Bam!" I hear it's works very efficiently on stains and dirt.
Bleach and water.
Alos, get yourself a squigee to remove water everytime you take a shower from the tile and the tub.
Soft Scrub
Mix vinegar in a small amount in with water and use that to clean with. Hospitals have known this trick for years. That keeps everything very white and sparkling clean.
If it is really discolored -- use straight vinegar.
You'll be happy with that and it isn't expensive.
Happy cleaning.
yellowish colour is from the minerals in the water... i believe calcium.
They have these sprays that come in bottles like Tilex would, right now the name escapes me so I'm being completely useless, but you use it after every shower and it's supposed to prevent mildew and soap scum...using comet won't hurt maybe once or twice a month just to clean it up though. Congrats on the new home!!
go to your local janitorial supply store and buy beam bleach. it is a certain brand. beam bleach is much stronger than regular clorox. it will brighten your tub and toilet, and help resist buildup of future stains. good luck.
Sounds like rust or mineral deposits in the water. Try Clorox cleanup, but don't use comet or any abrasive cleaner for that matter (unless it's already been done) it might clean it good, but it will leave small scratches in the finish, making the stains harder to get out, and ruining the shine. good luck
"shower power" it works great or CLR also great. keep the windows open.
you're problem isn't a clean tub its hard water you need a water softener. You have iron and other minerals discoloring your surfaces. and the more you scrub the more finish you wear off and the more it will discolor. There's a Product called Bon-Ami comes in a comet style container says 'Hasn't scratched yet' on it. that should help from any further damage.
I think peoples water has alot to do with the yellowing. I have a rust problem myself . Mostly I use the scrubbing bubbles. I also use that new Clorox Bathroom cleaner& love it. For the toliet I use SnoBol. When my shower starts getting the rusty thing going on I use the SnoBol there too. Maybe ounce a mounth I pour a little straight Clorox in the toliet only for about 10 minutes then flush and clean as usual. Becareful, if it doesn't get bad don't do that because it could mess up the enamul. Always remember don't use anything harsh on the crome.
There is a product called "AWESOME" all purpose cleaner, it's realy awesome. You can find this product at a any 99 cents only stores, Dollar Tree Stores and Family Dollar Stores. You can use this product to clean the whole house. It would not damage anything.
Bleach...you must have hard water with lots of iron in it.
CLR
