What is the best prewash stain treatment?
Answers:
Spray and Wash Stain Stick. Make sure it's the stick and not the liquid spray. I got food out of my daughters toddler clothes and grass stains out when she played little league and now she's into horses and it still gets everything out. Rub it in good and throw it in the wash. It's great. I can't live without it. The only thing I haven't found a way to get out is tomato sauce stains. Maybe I'll ask a question about those! (-:

I think Dreft also makes a pretreatment spray.
Well, your best, first line of defense is cold water!
If you can toss soiled stuff into a sink of cold water as soon as ya find it, that helps.
Dreft does have a prewash...Shout works well...
And if all else fails, just get clothes for her (at this age) at Goodwill!! That's what I did (and still do!!) w/ my son.
She's gonna be making messes for a long time :-) ; that's just what kids do! So, might as well spend pennies for some good clothes, for a good cause!
Be well...
I find that Oxiclean is the most effective prewash for biological stains. For best results soak the items in oxiclean prior to washing. I also add it to the prewash compartment in my washing machine. The manufacturer recommends spot testing the product in an inconspicuous area of the fabric.
Just rub your detergent on the stain.
I use Shout or Zout when I can find it.
I soak in Biz. My grandmother told me to use it (she had 8 kids), and it works really well. Sometimes I leave the stubborn ones to soak for several days.
My sister in law swears by Stain Stick.
Good luck.
Soak clothes in Home Brand Nappy Treatment Plus for about 2 hours and then wash them. It's about the best I've ever found!
I have found that the "Spray & Wash Stick" works best for me. Depending on the stain...really bad then I will treat the area, put clothing to the side, treat 1,2,3 more times depending, but never wet clothing prior to treatment. Then wash as normal. The liquid never seemed to work well for me. I use to work in a Hospital and had many stains on my scrubs like blood and betadine and if I did my 1,2,3 steps it would come out. Heads up hairspray works on ink stains. Good Luck with your stains!
The best prewash stain treatment you could find is called awesome.
You find this product at any 99 cents only soters. Nothing works better. Just spray it on the garment and toss it in the washer machine. This product is an excellent degreaser and stain remover.
