How do you get the red out?

We've all done it before and now my daughter has done it. She washed a new red skirt in with all her other laundry, not just whites but jeans too. Does anyone know how to get the red out of coloured clothes? If it's even possible.

Answers:
Rit dye remover or color run remover will get it out. I usually find it at fabric stores in the area they sell fabric dyes. You just soak the items in the remover and launder as usual, viola, the garment goes back to it's original color. A hint, when you wash dark colored clothing for the first time, particularly those made in India or Pakistan, add a cup of white vinegar to the rinse water. It sets the color and will keep it from running in future wash loads.
