How do you remove wood stain from a formica top?

I was staining my cabinets and got some on the formica top..Any suggestions? thanks

Acetone (finger nail polish) will probably be your best bet.
Try some on the formica where it will not show to make sure it will not harm the formica finish.

Other answers:
try some lacquer thinner....might work....could get soem stripper...wood stripper etc...but that might damge the top..try the thinner first

Try mineral spirits.

Perhaps Goo Gone.

Or maybe try something like SoftScrub.
You should have removed it immedately. However, try the same solvent used for the stain it will be white spirit or methylated spirit. If that does not work use neat bleach
I would think that some Clorox Clean-up would work. It smell's real nice to.
