you can use moth balls, but the odor is awful..lavender is very helpful and smells a lot better. look for lavender scented laundry spray or ironing spray. Try looking for it at Linens & Things, or Bed Bath and Beyond. Walmart carries one that I really like and also has the best value, but it doesn't come with a spray. I've also seen them at Dollar Tree. You might want to try that to see how you like it before buying a larger more expensive bottle. If you don't like lavender you can buy cedar blocks also found at Walmart. Lavender and Cedar are natural repellants. Moth Balls have a warning that they can cause cancer. Hope this helps!

mothballs are effective though they tend to have an offensive smell. I tried strong scented soap bars and they worked great. the clothes smelled nice as well. the point is putting something with a strong smell.
