How do you win rid of cat urine, chiefly from a mattress??
Answers: ok, fist of all. agree to me get my pet book hahaha.
when my cat pee'd surrounded by my matress and car this its what i did, it might steal like 2-3 tries but it works.
1 use a cleaning agent of bakin soda and marine, Equal parts
rub it in accurate. ( this will neutralise the smell) clean it beside a cloth
2. use a detergent solution, any detergent laundry or dish or floor, something that smells good. rub it within and remove.
3.again some more bakin soda and water this time pour some vinager over this once its surrounded by the fabric. rub it surrounded by really good, and absorve near a cloth.
4. rinse with fresh hose down wait until dried and if still smells try again.
i.e. very tough.
the best products are the natural ones, such as 'nature's miracle' or 'the good stuff'.
those are you best likelihood but they probably won't work 100% especially if the urine is really soaked in.
White Vinegar beside equal parts hot hot water. Yes, initially the vinegar stinks, but eventually neutralize. :)
Mix 1/2Cup of white vinegar 1 squirt of dawn dish detergent and 1 cup of dampen. apply it gently, and rub the stain to remove. The vinegar will give support to with the odor, Take treatise towel and blot as much as you can do not cover it while it is wet, if not you will get mildew. Use a fuzz dryer if needed and leave it overnight to really dry. Then move about to the store and buy a plastic cover. this will help within case the cat comes put money on.

I agree, Zero odor is the way to walk!
I have also used Zero Odor, it works better than any household made recipe & is guaranteed. I've used it on MILK Spilled on hearth rug. Dog feces, Cat pee & vomit. I wouldn't recommend anything else.
I'm another user who has used ZERO ODOR next to HUGE success. I hold 4 male cats & they spray on a regular foundation, my bed, my carpet, it be insane. ZERO ODOR saved the daytime!
I've tried everything but this is the only article that really works!
I usually don't fall for those T.V. gimic things, but my mother within law have bought some of that UrineGone from a as seen on T.V. store and it worked wonders for her. Her cat have went on the matress and within a chair and she soaked up what she could near an old towel and consequently used the UrineGone and it worked wonders. You could try that, or I would recommend using some Oxy Clean. I use it on all sorts of stains around the house and it works wonders! Good luck!:)
Vinegar and hose does work pretty well at getting the cat urine smell out of any type of upholstery so it should work okay on a mattress too.
Ensure you avoid using any ammonia base products when cleaning the area as this smells similar to other cat's scent and can result in your cat to want to cover the scent with their own.
Here's a relation to a great article that explains this more clearly.
