how do i remove an olive oil stain from a dress?

Answers:
enzymatic cleaners, it's the only thing I know that will break down the oil enough to remove it.

Other answers:
try Lestoil or Greased Lightning. Both products work great on grease stains. Be sure to check it before you toss it in the dryer. If there's still a little stain, reapply and wash it again.

Try Neutragena Shampoo - it really works! put some on the spot, let it sit about an hour and then wash it out.

Use 'Goof Off' on the spot. It is a solvent and removes the spot pretty good. Then launder in hot water, if the fabric will take hot water. You can find it find at a hardware store, such as Home Depot.
