How should I organize cleaning / managing my house?
Answers:
You definitely need to check out flylady.
http://flylady.net/
She has helped me immensely with my home, and getting everything in order. She starts out with baby steps, and helps you set up routines, and she will also send little e-mails to help keep you on track.
My home looks great thanks to her.

Pritozing is a good start. See which tasks you need to do more often and which ones you need to do the least.

go to google and you will find plenty
i think the best plan is to leave it till tomorrow, after this has become repetative, then leave it to the end of the day, whatever builds up the most, or is in most need, then do it.

I have used a web site called Fly Lady (www.flylady.net). It's very helpful in organizing and cleaning. She can also send you emails to help motivate you through out the day.
Maybe Good Housekeeping magazine could help.but, in the end, you have to get things together and make it work for you all. The best thing to do is make out a weekly schedule, write it down, and stick to it. When there is a lot to do, it is easy to be overwhelmed, but if you take it one step at a time(or one room at a time), it is less to take in.
Some suggestions:
1. Write down some fast, easy recipes that will be at your fingertips when you are in the kitchen.
2. If there is laundry to be done, throw a load on before you even eat breakfast...it takes forever to wash, dry, and fold everything...so it needs to come first.
3. Also, fold the laundry while watching your fav. show...it gets done faster!
4. you should have a list of regular things to clean(sweeping, mopping, laundry) as well as "maintanence" items(washing base boards, cleaning out fridge etc.)
Hire a maid. You've earned it!
put every cleaning supply in a basket or pail and start one room at a time do a load of laundry every day it won't pile up on you and remove from dryer right away cut down on ironing
When doing laundry make sure you sort it into 4 different piles. 1) Lights/cold wash, 2) Lights/warm wash, 3) Darks/cold wash, 3) Darks/warm wash.
Check out Schwans.com for partially prepared meals that are super easy and nutritious.
Clean the bathrooms thoroughly at least once a week. Vacuum every other day. Dust at least once a week.
I've used FlyLady at Flylady.net also. Her program is great. She also has a Yahoo group. Join now! Just do as she says.it will work!
Flylady.net it has great ideas but ask your wife for tips then figure out what works for you and put the three together and you should have a great plan!
