how do you wash this?

well my friend gave me a new teady bear.
how can you wash it with out hurting the fiber?

it says:
ALL NEW MATERIAL
100%POLYSTER FIBER

SO HOW DO I WASH IT?

Answers:
Usually they are only able to be spot cleaned with a damp cloth. If the bear is really dirty you may be able to hand wash it in some gentle soap (Woolite) and fluff dry/or air dry it. Be very careful to not use hot water or dryer heat because this will shrink your bear. A small brush can be used to fluff up the bears hair. :)

I KNOW THIS SOUNDS STUIPD BUT GO TO BUILDABEAR WORKSHOP AT THE MALL AND GET SOME BEAR CLEANER I GOT SOME FOR MY SISTER AND IT WORKED
hand wash with woolite.
I would just put in a pillowcase, and wash in the washer, but, don't put it in the dryer, that may melt the fur, a little. Wash on cold, if it does need a touch of dryer, use the no heat option, or fluff.
I think most stuffed toys should be spot cleaned. That's what the tags on them say (when there is a tag).
Keep it simple.
Use a soapy, damp not wet, wash rag.
If it is just smelly and not dirty use Frebreze.
oh thats cute. a teddy bear.
Hand washing?
