can you un-shrink a sweater?
Answers:
When your sweater has shrunk more than a size or two, you might as well cut off the arms and use it to keep Fluffy warm next winter. But if your sweater has become just a bit too snug, try these steps to return it to its original size.
Steps:
1. Mix 2 tbsp. baby shampoo into a sink full of warm water. The shampoo will relax natural fibers like wool.
2. Soak the sweater in the shampoo-and-water mixture for 15 minutes.
3. Without rinsing the sweater, take it out of the soapy water and roll it in a towel to remove as much moisture as possible.
4. Spread the sweater onto a large corkboard, pulling it into the size and shape you want. Fasten the sweater to the corkboard using pins, being careful not to snag the sweater.
5. Return to the sweater every several hours, restretching and repinning it as necessary, until the sweater is dry.
god bless

Take it to a reputable dry-cleaner. They should be able to stretch it out for you. I think they use some special technique so that it doesn't ruin the shape or fit of your clothing.
yes, by gifting it to someone with a smaller built :)
no, sorry, I suggest you go buy another of the exact same sweater and be careful.
If you shrink in size.
not usually, especially if you dried it.
sure. just get a friend to help you out. each of you go on both sides of the sweater and pull, and it will stretch out the sweater. of course, the sweater might rip, but if you really want it un-shrunk, i guess thats something you will have to deal with.
