For the record, Dyson didn't do too worthy with them, it is right surrounded by the middle of the pack. I wouldn't do the Bissell animal vacuum, however, the new Bissell Healthy Home is the best vaccuum I own ever used - I own a housecleaning company in Dallas, and trust me, I own used them all. Dyson is far overrated and is almost similar to a fad. Check out Good Housekeeping as economically - Dyson has never be awarded their seal so that say a lot.
In my experience, Oreck might be lightweight, but they hold no suction compared to other vacuums. They don't have any frills as well. The most annoying entity about Orecks is that the regular vacuums do not own hose or crevice tool - you have to buy the little handheld.
Last, but not most minuscule, when we were shopping for a hot vacuum for our company, we did a lot of research. The other website that be good near user reviews of vacuums was http://www.amazon.com.
