Why the water is not draining wellfrom Dish washer?
Answers:
You have one of four problems:
1. Most likely, you have something that is clogging the drain. There should be a screen that keeps large things from going into your pump. You might have some plastic or food that is up against that screen preventing the water from properly draining.
2. The pump on your dishwasher may be going bad. When the drain cycle starts you should be able to listen at your sink drain for water flowing. If you can't hear water flowing or if it seems like the flow is slow you might have a problem with the pump or it might be related to #1. You can also listen during the wash cycles to see if you hear water pounding inside. The same pump that drains the unit, creates the pressure the cleans the dishes.
3. If there is plenty of water flowing listen to see how long the drain cycle runs. If it stops early you might have a problem with the controls. Some older dishwashers use a dial type control that turns a dial that controls the cycles. If it is newer it is most likely a computer chip that controls the cycles.
4. You might have a clog where the drain line dumps in under your sink. They usually connect at the disposal. Perhaps you have some food in there or maybe even some grease that as congealed in there.
Other answers:
You may have food particles stuck down in the bottom of your dish washer or your drain may be plugged for any number of other reasons.
