Rug cleaning request for information???
I was told that my carpet have soap build up.
I tried going over it several times beside just wet.
I had a proffessional come within to clean the rugs and this is what they told me. Soap build up.
Any suggestions how to remove it?
Answers: You may hold 'soap build-up' on your carpets, but it probably isn't as fruitless as you think. Your 'instincts' are right ... grasp a good 'runner cleaning machine' and fill it beside 'superhot water' mixed with 1/2 cup vinegar to one gallon of river. Try to get a apparatus that will 'vacuum out' most of the 'water' ... it will also help 'remove' the soap build up. Go over your mat twice ... go 'up and down' once, and next go fund and forth once, to be sure that you have 'cleaned' every bit of mat in the room. Then LET IT DRY THOROUGHLY and 'consistency it' ... it should feel 'cleaner' and even be cleaner ... but walk over it again (in the 'opposite direction' to your second 'vinegar cleaning' and then RINSE IT WELL within plain hot water going the 'other direction. After that, you may 'hire' someone to come surrounded by, but it will be much cleaner if you do it yourself the first time ...
Yep, I've heard of the vinegar/water. The vinegar will cut the dated soap build-up. Water alone will not.
My question is, why did the pros a moment ago come and tell you that lacking dealing with the problem? I hope you didn't pay packet them!
Yes that should help. In accessory to the vinegar and water mix. In the taking back tank of the mat clean piece of equipment you can put a type of soap suds reducer in in attendance. When I had my mat cleaning service I would sometimes run into over soaped carpets and my taking back tank would own 1 inch of water and 10 inches of soap and it drove us crazy other having to useless soap. You should be able to pick up some if you own a janitorial supply store near you.
It is impeccably ok to use vinegar and water as a mat cleaner.50/50. I would think however, that you would be better to hire a steam cleaner, and try that. It's funny to enjoy soap build-up in a runner though. What have you be doing to it?You do need grill and steam would be the best.
