Seriously, windows cleaners are cheap and get v. good result. average £15. Also involves no work and don't have to pay for cleaning fluids, wipers, etc. could possible give a rough quote is say how many windows have, what type are they (double glazed, lead, etc.) Else happy cleaning

Get a window cleaner to do it for you,, its only 5-6quid for a big house,,,,,
capfull of viniger in bowl of water, polish of with kitchen roll
they dont sell it in the shops ,, its called ,, elbow grease, try it ..
If it is a sunny day, forget it all you will get is streaks. I use hot water, the meerest dash of star drops and a half pint of white vinegar to a gallon of water. Use a sponge, then a squeegie. Then a quick rub with kitchen roll.
IMAGINE HOW GOOD IT WILL LOOK WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED
use a little tiny bit of washing up liquid in the hot water .. and dry them with scrunched up newspaper ... that will get them all sparkly !!
You think thats a hard job .. i had to clean all my wooden slated blinds yesterday ... i have 9 of them ... took 6 hours !!!!!
I HATE THAT JOB !!
Have fun xx
I did all mine on thursday--best stuff is good old pink windolene -- put it on with a damp cloth then as it dries polish it of with a clean duster.Quick and easy not found anything to compare with it everything else leaves streaks
Normal window cleaner or washing up liquid in a bucket of warm water, crunched up newspaper to dry.
Had the same job to do today, but it's started raining now, oh what joy!
Slightly damp microfibre cloth...no chemical.
They come up like new.
Alternatively play short, inadequate and look slighlty pathetic and some one gallant may take over.....not sure if there are two alive but the one I married is very good like that!
Soft brush and soapy water, best on cloudy days so the water doesn't eveporate and you can leave it to soak for a few minutes. Do high up windows with a long brush. Use a hosepipe to rinse, obviously do the top windows first. As long as they are well rinsed, the residue will be minimal or none.
Do all window cleaners get rid of the ladder holes they sometimes make?
Windolene works really well
I always start with the ones that matter the most that way if you don't get them all done in one day the ones you see most will look good. Try to do the ones in the shade first because the sun will streak them. Family dollar has this awesome window cleaner that is just like windex .$1 for a half gallon and good deals on paper towels. Start from the outside first getting the corners an edges of the frame or you will keep smearing this dirt back through the middle. Then use a back and forth motion for the final wash rather than a circular motion. I keep a razor blade handy for the dried bugs and difficult spots that you cant wipe off.
Washing up liquid into a basin, clean with cloth, dry with piece of kitchen roll then dry with dry cloth. will also clean UPVC.
Glad to help you !
It's raining here don't do it.
I've been using white vinegar and a soft cloth not terry.....it seems to leave a lot of fuzz. I've paid for the expensive stuff and white vinegar still works the best :) Crank your stereo and have a ball!
I like using rubbing alcohol and newspaper to wash my windows...With newspaper you dont get any lint and it dont streak....
I just use white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Put about 1 part vinegar to 5 parts water. Just use newspaper to dry the windows. It is cheap, effective and good for the enviroment.
washing up liquid is the best in some water then dry with a towel
Clean it with soap water,or to have a cleaner window,u clean it with water first and then wipe it with a news paper.U try it and see it will be clean.Have a good day.
Use Invisible Glass. It works wonders for a streak-free shine. I use it for everything from my car to my glass tables and office doors at work. You won't be disappointed. Look in the car care section of Wal-Mart or any car/auto store.
