how do I remove yellow stains caused hy rubber carpet backing from a white sheet vinyl floor.?

I have tried Chlorox Clean-Up and chlorine bleach, both without success.

Have you tried the Mr Clean eraser? I use this and I can't believe the stains that can be removed. It works great.

Sorry to tell you, but I haven't found anything that works to remove that stain besides putting down new vinyl flooring! There is something in the backing that reacts chemically with something in the vinyl.
I tried to rub and clean by hand with strong soap.
MAKE A PASTE WITH OXICLEAN (GRANULES) AND VERY LITTLE WATER. RUB IT ON ,LEAVE OVERNIGHT. YOU'LL HAVE TO SCRUB IT OFF IN THE MORNING ,BUT IT WILL PROBABLY WORK.
you dont vinal staines thats it. you can patch small areas ,live with it or replace it
