What's the best way to get melted crayon out of my dryer and crayon stains off my clothes?

There's a glob of melted crayon stuck in my dryer and I need to know the best way to get it out without ruining my dryer. I thought about turning the dryer on for a few minutes to let the glob get soft, and then try to wipe it out, but I'm afraid that will make a bigger mess. There's also crayon marks on several items of clothes that were in the dryer with the crayon. How do I get these stains off the clothes without ruining the clothes? Is there any hope?

Answers:
Spray WD-40 on a cloth and wipe the dryer with it. repeat until all is gone...

For the clothes I have added the crayola website. Tips there how to remove stains from all materials and surfaces.

Materials

Laundry detergent
Liquid dish washing detergent
WD-40® (car part lubricant)
Bleach for colored clothing (Clorox 2® or Biz®)
Paper towels
Amodex® ink & stain remover

Procedure
Place the stained surface down on pad of paper towels, spray with WD-40, let stand a few minutes, turn fabric over and spray the other side. Apply liquid dishwashing detergent and work into the stained area, replacing towelling as it absorbs the stain. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent and bleach for about 12 minutes (use heavy soiled setting if there is no minute timer on your machine) and rinse in warm water.Special Note:Heat-Set Stains-Clean the drum of your dryer to remove any remaining wax residue. Spray a soft cloth with WD-40, and wipe the drum. Run a load of dry rags through a drying cycle to ensure that your drum is clean. (Optional)-Amodex® ink & stain remover PROCEDURE: Use according to directions on container. Purchase Amodex by calling 800-624-PENS or visit www.fahrneyspens.com.

I am not sure about your drier, sorry. But for your clothes I believe that if you put the item of clothing in the freezer the crayon will come off easier?

i heard you can put papertowels over the clothes and then iron them, melting the wax, and the papertowels will soak up the wax(so i heard)
Goo Gone is the product that will remove the crayon from your clothes and from your dryer. you can find this great product in the supermarket in the cleaning products aisle. It comes in a spray bottle or a squeeze bottle and I have even seen it in a gallon container.

Follow the directions for the clothing and use a plastic spatula or similar item to scrape as much of the crayon off the dryer and then dissolve and remove the rest of the crayon with the Goo Gone.
Use GOO GONE in the dryer. Sold a Wal-Mart for about 4.99
