Bleach or pressure wash.
First power wash. Then I would get a spray bottle and mix a solution of bleach and water and just every once in a while go out and spritz the bricks. This also works for houses that get it growing on the siding.
Are you sure it's mold and not moss?
Lowes sells a product by DampRid that will not only remove it but will put down a protective shield to keep it from growing again. I like it better than muriatic acid, bleach or phosphuric acid because they kill the grass and plants around the patio. This product does not and it is basically odorless.
Seems these bricks might be in a dark, cool place? Try power washing.
Diluted beach with water - just be careful not to get it on or close to plants.
You'll have to play with this a bit, till you get a diluted beach at the right strenght to take out the stain.
by presser-washing the patio bricks.
I worked as a Head House Keeper and this green mold would build up on the bricks. The Best & cheapest way to get rid of this and keep it gone for a long time is to get a spray bottle and mix 1/2 water with 1/2 Bleach and spray where needed and use a scrub brush. When it disapears spray a few times on the same area and let it dry.
