How do I clean fake plants and keep the dust off of them in my home??
Answers:
Shower them off or use the sprayer from the kitchen sink. Let them air dry in the sun. Works just fine for me.
Other answers:
Use a damp cloth and spray them with something like scotch guard.

oh, do you know what works really well for this, a little lemon juice or vinegar on piece of kitchen roll rubbed over the fake leaves. It keeps dust from settling too!
Depends on what material they are made out of?
1. fake pants???
2. put them in a bag
if they are made from plastic, u should wash them regularly. if its those solar-powered to move their leaves, just wipe it with a damp cloth.
I know this is going to sound weard but it does work.. Rice... for most if you put them in a plastic bag and some rice and shake it will take the dust off... I use to buy alot of silk flowers and things and that was on the cleaning instuctions for them .. My mother also would do it growing up and I had seen it worked
Damp cloth will do, or pledge and a dry cloth..(spray on cloth)...
Now, get an electronic air cleaner...
They work wonders in the house, and keeps all mold and bacteria at a minimal...(Especially good if you have allergies, and small kids who get ear and nose infections a lot)...
I wish you well...

Keeping dust off is impossable but do not clean with anything with oil in it, suggest use a chux dry the dust sticks to it, if you use fluid the dust turns to a paste and will be even harder.
I have a large fake palm and I use babywipes to clean the leaves. My small floral plants I use the canned air you clean a keyboard with, or a hair dryer set on low.
First spray with canned air, and if they still need help after that, put them in a bag with salt and shake well.
I only clean mine in the summer when it is hot. I get a sink full of warm water and dish soap. I dip them and wiggle them around, then rinse, then lay them out on the patio. They dry very quickly and look great! Be careful of fake coated berries and such. They don't take it well, but the silk leaves and flowers look bright as new.
swiffer dusters or pledge dusters. They both work great. I use them a couple of times a month to clean my home and I haven't been disappointed yet!! You can also try spraying WD-40 on your plants. This will help keep the dust off of them and make them shine!!
I use swiffer cloths and the new Pledge Duster Plus. They work great. Hope I helped!! Also, Pledge has a new anti- dust formula that's a must have.
