Moldy shower?

My shower and bathtub other get moldy-It is SO gross! I detestation it. Then I have to occasionally re cauk around the tub and scrub it down and I cant even take the stained dirtiness from the floor of the tub up. What can I use or do to keep it from constantly modling?

Answers:    All of the mold hired gun ideas are great. If you enjoy another shower to use for a few days then in attendance is one other thing to do the subsequent time you decide to re-caulk the shower to own the best chance the mold will not come rear. Make sure you thoroughly dig out adjectives the old caulk and after saturate the wall adjectives along the joint/gap with bleach and try to really go and get it into the joint economically. Blow air on the reciprocal with fan for a few dys to dry it out. Then recaulk it with a silicone sealant made for bathtubs and showers that have a fungicide and mold/mildew resistance.
Use a bathroom cleaner with bleach contained by it such as Comet or Soft scrub with bleach.:)
I hold the same problem. I be told that i didn't have satisfactory ventilation surrounded by my bathroom, so that was why mold grows. If you own a window within there, hold it open at smallest a crack all the time. And have a fan will give a hand also. Good Luck :-)
Window open, you can also spray some bleach next to water after every shower on your trouble spots to save it controled.
i found a cleaner called "The Works". i originally found it at the dollar store and i figure what the heck? anyway it TOTALLY worked on mold and hard river ick on the bottom of the tub, you know that icky stuff? so now i find it at Ace Hardware.
We have this same problem with our caulking. We finally found a silicone anti-mold made of late for showers...at Lowe's. Try looking there, it works great for us we haven't have to replace it and it's been almost 2 years presently. Before we were replacing it every few months.
I use WD40 to sustain out with mold contained by the shower and my bathtub. It is a apposite water repellent. Also another suggestion is to rinse the shower down near cold water after you embezzle a shower and wipe the shower down with a dry towel. Dry the shower completely and you will not own mildew issues. Also I know someone suggested more air stirring I use a lover to help dry out my bathroom until I carry the exhaust fan fixed.
Though bleach and hose solve your problems temporary, you obligation a water proof coating to prevent mold that hose can't penetrate within fore preventing mold. It is the only mode.

This is what you need to do to for good solve your problem. First you need to verbs your tub's surface with a suitable etching cleaner like Top Secret Coatings Etching Cleaner, later use (a quart) Top Secret Coating's Primer and (a quart) Top Secret Coating's One Part Epoxy.

It comes in over 200 colors and looks amazing and end for 20 years without crumbling, scratching, or wearing sour.

Plus it is non-toxic unlike many of the tub tub refinishing paints sold, some use very toxic chemicals that can be potentially highly unhealthy for you that don't fit tightly or look nearly as good as Top Secret Coating's One Part Epoxy.

Good luck!
Try using a product resembling Clorox clean up after every shower or tub.
In our house my wife keeps a bottle of Tilex beside the tub so rule is after every shower we spray the tiles so by the time subsequent person showers it basically runs off no build up of mould that style
