how do you get chewing gum off a woolen dress?
Answers:
I would try ice. Put some in a sandwich bag and put it on the dress. Normally, I just put ice directly on it, but wouldn't chance it with wool. The gum should get hard and scrape off with a butter knife. Sometimes I just put the item directly in the freezer and wait a bit.
Other answers:
Wet the part where the gum is and then put it in the freezer.Let it get really cold(over night should do it). Most of the time you can just flake it right off.Good Luck!

Ice, Ice baby.
I used to be a gum addict as a kid, thus, many of my things ended up with gum stuck on it.
One being my favorite sweater in the whole wide world. (back then my world was a lot smaller than it is today)
My mother was a master at saving my clothes. She would freeze them. frozen hard, the gum would, with a little finger play, would just break off.
Don't know if it would work on the gum of today, but it wouldn't hurt to give it a try.
Good luck.

Ice. Freeze the spot and carefully remove the gum.
JD got it correct first. Freeze the dress in a plastic bag. don't let it come in direct contact with the freezer. But it in a plastic bag over night. It should crack right off.
you will only do that by either washing the dress, or you buy another dress
freeze it and when it gets hard just pull it out.
Ice if that dosen't work try goo-gone
