If you have money, line the inside of the closet with cedar panels. If you need to do it cheap, go to your local garden shop and buy some cedar bark mulch and hang it in net bags. You can also make sachets from fresh herbs like rosemary and lavendar or put cotton balls soaked in aromatic oils in there. Try putting a box of baking soda on the shelf or sprinkle in the floor.
Put an opened box of baking soda in your closet.
Put some cedar chips in your closet.
Be certain that one of the kids did not leave a sandwich in one of the pockets.
Try activated charcoal. you can get it at pet supply stores. My father in law used it in his musty cellar. Also you could put a box of opened baking soda on a top shelf to absorb odors. or put some in a sock. Remember to keep the closet clean, organized, vaccumed and free of dirty socks!! Good luck,
Put baking soda in the box in there. Just open the lid. I would also hang a new broom with Cinnamon oil on it. (broom like a benson(Halloween broom ))
well first of all u need to find the source of the order , sometimes if your closet is built near a water line of any sort , ie if your closet is near a water source ie a bathroom or even an ouside water faucet , this can make a room have a musty smell if theres any form of a leak , u may not see the leak but there may be one behind a wall or something , but no matter what try to find the souece of the order , if u have carpet in the closet u may want to remove that nand put tile or some other type of floorin g in there , take off the closet door and hang like a curtain or something there , to allow air to circulate open the windows of the room wher e the close t is and let it air out several days a wekk , theres so many thing tha tu can do , like make some sachet bags with poperi , get som e cedar chips and hang in lil bags and even place on the floor of your closet in the corners etc , this will help absorb some of the order as well as give u closet a lil hint of a cedar smell gl
