what gets double sided tape off glass?

i have been trying some stuff called "oops" and it isnt working that well. any other suggestions?

Answers:
Full strength amonia will do the trick. Apply it with an old towel so it's sort of "scruby" and then clean the glass as you normailly do. Amonia is great for removing the gluey stuff. Also, that formula K stuff in a can that is a sort of solvent works well too.

Other answers:
use the "oops" or "goo gone" along with the edge of a razor blade- the old individual razor blades- it should come right off. Be careful though!

Try saturating it with hairspray. Let it stand for a little bit and then spray some more on. Scrub it with a nylon mesh pot scrubber. Good luck.
Goo Gone! Get it from the paint department of a Home Center.
nail polish remover, lighter fluid.
a razer blade and gum off or goo off or a simular product
Charcoal lighter fluid and a soft cloth..
try nail polish remover, or baby oil. Also goo b gone is good (I've used it to get tape off my car window from the for sale sign it had on it before we bought it). It still take a little bit of elbow grease though (someone said something about a razor blade... before I got the goo be gone I used glass cleaner and a razor blade (on something else) it took me a while, but I got it done). Good luck!
cooking oil. (olive, corn, vegetable...any oil will work). Rub it into the glue. Work it under the tape.

It will take a little elbow grease, but it will work.

Do NOT use any sharp objects to scrape...you could scratch the glass.

Just be patient....it will come off in a few minutes.
liberator
ooooooo!
i feel your pain

i have been thru it....you get down to black fuzzy stuff and then have to scrape and scrape forever

LIGHTER FLUID will help a whole lot, if you are brave enough to use it!
If a single edged blade didn't work, I've used a product called "goo be gone"
Try a little rubbing alcohol,or finger nail polish remover.....also,there is a product at craft stores for removing glue.. ...
Just about a month ago I was wondering how to get the sealant film off my car glass window. It was due to me peeling the tinted plastic sheet off the glass. I thought to myself what will take this sticky film off. I went to a Auto Parts store. O'Reilly's I think and they recommended a spray solvent called , "GOOF OFF". I was kind of leary, but I said , "Okay!" I took it home and started to work. Luckily I had a razor blade or you could use a sharpened piece of plastic - like an ice scraper. I sprayed the stuff on the window and within' seconds it just came off so easily. There was not one scratch on the glass and now I can see clearly out of it. Caution: It is a solvent and it is flammable. Read the direction on the can very meticulously and follow it closely. Don't inhale the fumes either as it could make you dizzy. Don't get any on your skin or in your eyes. It will cause severe irritation. Note: A sovent is the only thing I know that will break down tape, sticker type glue. After you finish removing the glue then use windex and a dry cloth to finish the window clean up.
WD40 its great to remove glue, old sticker residue, crayon messes checkit out it really works.
WD40 AND A PLASTIC SCRAPER WD40 SEVERAL TIMES IF NEEDED
Goo Gone and a razor blade works wonders
Try W-D 40
WD-40 or acetone, babyoil.
