My washing machine is broken, I don't have any money, and I need some clean clothes?

What is the best way to get clothes really clean? Does handwashing work well?

Answers:
Before washing machines are invented, people have been handwashing their clothes. I believe handwashing acually clean cloths better.

Here are some tips from someone who had to hand wash his cloths for 15 years.

1. Get a big bin. Soak your cloths in laundry detergent for an hour or so, it helps losen the dirt.

2. Get a medium soft large brush, start brush each cloths down where the most dirty areas are. Armpits, neck, collars, pockets, cuffs. After brushing, squeez them out a bit and pile them somewhere.

3. Discard the soap water out of the bin, fill it up with clean water. Start rinsing your cloths one by one and lightly squeezing them out and piling them somewhere. Discard the water, filled it up again and repeat the procedure 2 more times.

4. After the third rinse, all the soap shoud be gone. Give them a good squeeze to take out the excess water.

5. Line dry them in indirect Sun.

I would ask a friend or relative if I could wash at their house. In exchange you could help them clean up around their house or fix them dinner or offer to babysit for them one night.

Try a laundrymat??
just handwash, it's not that hard
Yes. Just fill your sink or tub with water and use your detergent or some dish-washing liquid. Let them soak and if you see dirty spots rub the material together to scrub it out. Rinse. Dry. And should be good to go!

Hope this helps!
laundry mat!get some quarters and some clothes and go to a laundry mat!its not that hard!
have fun!
Handwashing is good...be sure to rinse well...or use a friend's washing machine.
why dont u get 1 of your mates to come round and look at it 4 u that way it will be cheaper and exchange it for what they want 2 do e.g. take than out 4 dinner or help them tidy their house 4 them
HAND WASHING YOUR LAUNDRY WILL GET THEM CLEAN, BUT WILL REQUIRE A LOT OF HARD WORK. TO MAKE THINGS A LITTLE EASIER BE SURE TO PRE-SOAK STAINED CLOTHES FOR AT LEAST 15 MIN. YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE YOUR TIME AND PUT A LOT OF "ELBOW GREASE" INTO IT. BE SURE TO FOCUS ON ONE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING AT THE TIME. FOR CLOTHES THAT ARE NOT DELICATE YOU CAN USE A SOFT BRISTLED BRUSH TO GET THE TOUGH SPOTS.MOST IMPORTANT, RINSE, RINSE, RINSE. REMEMBER YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO CLEAN YOUR CLOTHES USING DIRTY WATER.
MOST OF US HAVE BEEN IN THIS SITUATION AT SOME POINT OR ANOTHER IN OUR LIVES. I HOPE THINGS GET BETTER FOR YOU.
You might try the Salvo's or some other org,They might be able to help you, if not, they will tell you who might be able to.
use a friend or relatives washer
