How can I get black ink stains off, from inside the clothes dryer. URGENT! PLEASE HELP!!?
Answers:
Goof Off should do the trick!
Other answers:
try hairspray or rubbing alcohol.
try hairspray or rubbing alcohol.
one, try old fashioned elbow grease and scrub it off with a soft scouring pad. two, try to use some acetone on it. it should work both ways.
Try soaking a cloth in a strong OXYCLEAN solution, then putting IT in the dryer and tumbling it on 'cool' so that it doesn't dry.
Try about three wet towels saturated with bleach and some water for about 15 minutes then take them out they should still be wet, then get a dry rag and wipe it out right then while the metal is still hot, that should work, but I have not had that problem so it may not, good luck.
GoJo or any orange base cleaning substance. It will also depend on what the stain is.
it depends on the pen, first try to use water & bleach then dry it w/ a towl and if it doesnt come out scrub it w/ somthin hard & scrachy if it still doesnt come out after a hour ur screwed
I have used hot vegetable oil to remove tar from things. This may work with your ink problem.
Use care when handling the hot oil. Do not bring the oil to a boil this will be too hot.
try using any form of alcohol such as rubbing alcohol or ethanol 75%. that should help.
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Those things work on just about anything!!
No need to remove it.The heat of the dryer has baked it on and will not harm any clothes that come in contact with it.It's doubtful that it will come off anyway. But,if you must try,use Goof Off.Wear a mask,as the smell is very strong. That product will remove almost anything.
This happend to me....;
Rubbing alcohol DOES NOT WORK
the bleach and towel trick ummmm..dont think so.
I bought some nail polish remover and I used a tampon (for the cotton) its bigger than a cotton ball and it holds more acetone.
put down a cushion and start wiping. the drum should turn when you push on it..(so you dont have to crawl inside and contort your body to get the top... dont forget underneath the little tumbler shelves...(when it gets hot it will get on your clothes).
Good luck.
I found varnish and paint remover to work great - wipe on wipe off - be extremely careful - I had fan blowing, well ventilated, Took breaks because of vapors. Rinsed well with water, ran dryer with no heat with door open (tape the switch down) with fan blowing in it. Ran some real damp old towels through the first time (no heat with door open again) Read the label - be careful. Use your own judgement - It is dangerous but it wipes the ink right off. You do not want any left in the dryer that would start a fire with the dryer heat.
Easy! Magic Eraser!
