How can I get my white porcelain sinks white again? They look so yellow and ugly!?

I have tried using Pine-Sol, bleach, Krud Kutter, SOS pads . . . a lot of things, but my sinks still look terrible. I use these plastic mats to protect them from metal scrapes, but who cares when they look so dingy! Is there a solution?

Have you tried toothpaste, some times that will work....
What is it yellow from? Different causes call for different measures.

If it rust then using a product like CLR will take it off. A stronger and more harmful answer would be to use an acid like muratic acid or another strong one found in the plumbing aisle. It's used to clean out the clogs in the drains.

THE ACID IS VERY STRONG USE IT CAREFULLY, IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE IT AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS...ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES AND DON'T INHALE THE FUMES
scrub free mold&mildew spray,i swear by it...or fill the sink with hot water and bleach, let sit for a few hours....or you could try comet
It may be the chemistry of your water that's causing your sinks to get yellow easily. You might consider getting a water softener to keep things nice and bright. Getting yellow sinks white again is a pretty tough task.
you might be surprised that Ajax and or Comet powder bleaches with SOS pads could possibly do the trick, if not you should consider having it replaced or re-porcelain it.
Mr. Clean Eraser works. I had to clean the sinks, bath tub, walls, doors, stove, refrigerator with it. (I have 2 kids.)
Make a past with comet all over your sink and leave it on all night
in the morning scrub it off and your sink should be clean
If the stain is caused from rust or hard water, you may try a can of Barkeeper's Friend. This is also an excellent product for stainless steel sinks. I make a paste out of it and use it on my laundry to remove rust stains. The last can I purchased came from Bed Bath and Beyond. Good Luck!
Use a paste of cream of tartar and peroxide. I just did this on my tub that had stains when we moved in that I could never get out. It worked like magic!
Liquid toilet cleaner works wonders . . . but I'd be afraid to use it too often. Pour it on, let it sit for just a couple of minutes, and then rinse off.
Use that nasty oven spray - it worked on mine. Keep your hands gloved, eyes away, and windows open.
if you have hard water then you will never be able to get rid of it. hard water means that there is a larger concentration of minerals in your tap water.

you should try ajax powder.
Try a product called Bartender's Friend. It's a scouring powder that you form into a paste, and let sit on the pporcelain for a while before scrubbing and rinsing. I moved into a place that the previous tenant used the bathtub to clean auto parts in, and after using this product, it's now just like new.
I filled my porcelin sink with HOT HOT water, put a couple scoops of oxi-clean in til it desolved and added bleach, (it will foam up). Let it sit for and hour then drain. It will be pure white again. P.S. don't breath in the fumes when you add the bleach.
i'm not into chemical cleaners...baking soda works AMAZING. sprinkle baking soda into your sink (when slightly wet). take a green scrubby pad and scrub all the surfaces after a few minutes...rinse with water. I have had great results.
