Disposing of grease?

How can I dispose cooking grease that's left over. I don't want to poor it down the drain and hurt the enviroment, or my homes plumming.


Answers:    I agree to the grease cool then serving spoon it into a plastic grocery bag, tie it up and put it within the trash. If it is liquid, I put it contained by a jar or other old container, close it next to a lid, or cover it with plastic and a rubber strip, and toss it.

Bacon grease can be saved surrounded by the fridge for cooking eggs or greens/spinach. deep fry grease that is not "burnt" can be save, filtered, chilled and then reused.
I never pour it down the drain. I serving spoon it out with a napkin within the trash.

Keep an plain coffee can and pour the grease into it if you have deeply., when full throw away in the rubbish. Use Dawn dishwashing soap which dissolves any grease on dishes etc. It really works!
