A box of 4 crayons went through the laundry. Help! Any ideas how to get the waxy color out of our clothes?

It is a mixed wash with cottons & poly. Mostly darker colors.

Answers:
iron the clothes, it will melt the crayon then you can wipe it off with a towel.

Put a rag you don't care about over the clothes. Then, start the iron! When you iron the clothes, it will melt the wax, which will then harden onto the rag you put between them (the iron and the waxy clothes). You can't delete the wax, but you can move it onto something else that you don't really care about. This also works for candles on the carpet!! :) Good luck!
Go to your local Dollar General store and get M360 or M60. It comes in a round bowl like container and is a cream stain remover. Cost is $1.00 and I am pretty sure it'll take it out.
the wax with very hot water and soap but the color may not completely come out. Try some of the stain removers.
Use a hot iron and a brown paper bag, Place the bag over the crayon stain and keep moving it around, the bag will absorb the wax. This works great for candle wax on carpet also. Good Luck!
