Where can I find a good place to buy t-shirts wholesale?

I have recently started a t-shirt company and am looking to start buying some blank shirts. I am hoping to find the thinner, "worn" looking shirts instead of brand new "normal" t-shirts. I am going to be screenprinting onto them. If anyone knows of anywhere that I can find plain, vintage distressed t-shirts please let me know.

Thanks!

If you are serious and are buying in quantity let me know. I do it for a living but need to do some research on the worn softer t shirts. I can't order just a few shirts they have to be done in quanties like 48-72 and higher to get the best prices. Got a pic of something similar to what you are looking for or know a brand?

Just a shot here but did you try Sam's Wholesale? Or Wal Mart..Seems to me that Wal Mart has some vintage looking plain t-shirts.. (Then again I could be wrong and was seeing things too..lol) Good Luck!

This would take some work, but I think the results would be good: Make a t-shirt tumbler. Buy a compost tumbler, fill it with a bunch of smooth stones, add new t-shirts and tumble them. Pumice might work better. Some of my favorite distressed shirts and jeans have come with bits of pumice in the pockets, so I assume that is how the manufacturers aged them.

Also, use a lighter weight shirt - like a Jerzees 5.6 oz - instead of a heavier weight. They will probably "age" quicker.
