What is the best way to remove candle wax? Off of sink, floor, etc?
Answers:
NOO! They're all wrong. You'll scratch the surface. Use a hairdryer to soften the wax before removing with paper towels. Wash off any remaining residue with vinegar and water. I tried this a few years ago and it works.

As crazy as this sounds... Ice.

Isn't it ice? or a butter knife?
She's right, ICE
if it is on cloth or carpet you can place a rag over it and iron it moving the rag every few minutes to a different place and the wax should then stick to the rag
steam cleaner if you have it, otherwise hot water bottle on the spot will melt then just wipe up.
Ice is the way to go. If you have candle holders too that you need to remove the wax from, stick in the freezer
To remove candle wax, don't use ice!! Heat the wax with a blow dryer to melt it, then use an old credit card or butter knife to lift off what you can and pop it off.
It can be removed by a sharp item or by ice.
both! First: Ice in a bag, so the wax freezes, take of as many you can with your hands, then lay absorbing paper on it, a towel on top and iron it. the wax melts, and the paper absorbs it.
