rent the rug doctor after you get all the loose stuff up, a couple of times with plain water, then sprinkle oxy clean then HOT water boil it the heat brings out the power of the oxyclean

Nature's Miracle from PetSmart works wonders...very easy and just follow the directions. It removes both the stain AND the odor. We originally bought the small bottle, but since then bought the one gallon refill.

Go to a near-by car dealership and ask their make-ready dept what they use and could you purchase some from them. These people get unbelievable stuff out of trade ins every-day!
Cleaning carpets, you generally need to rent a carpet cleaner (large supermarkets rent them). But just to clean up vomit, you can do that with a pail of water and some dish soap. Put about the size of 2 quarters worth of dish soap into a pail, fill with warm water. Scrub the area with the solution until it comes up. When it is dry, vacuum over the area. Good luck!
First just pick it up with a cloth and then you need to shampoo it. Use a cleaner. If you don't have one you can rent one from walmart.
there are many companies that clean carpet, the one im familliar with is the rug doctor it get ur carpet wet and pull out all the dirt
Call a carpet cleaner to do it, I got mine done for 80.00, it was worth it they did my living room and two bedrooms.
