Why is doing laundry such a pain in the butt?
Answers:
well if you didn't have so many skid marks and pecker tracks in your shorts to have to wash out by hand it wouldn't be so bad

It's all mental dude.
it is a way of life. trust me i hate it too.
it is a pain because it has to be done.
Because once you've done it, it just has to be done over and over again. It never ends!!
i hate laundry more then anything else.
Because it requires moving your *** off the couch......
Its the folding and waiting for the dryer or washer to finish. It seems to take forever
try being a woman! we've been doing it for years and we'll do it till we die. you on the other hand you will marry and have a wife that does it for you! quit your bitchin'! I hate it too.
It could be worse. At least we have washing machines and dryers. In some parts of Spain, they still do their laundry by hand in the river. Just feel lucky you don't have to do that!
i feel the same way about dishes. thank god for the dishwasher and the laundry machines!
maybe one day, you can afford to buy all new clothes. until then, suck it up, and try and keep organized so it doesn't eat all your time up.
Its one of those things in life that you just have to accept, doing laundry blows! I wish I could afford to just get a housekeeper to do it all for me, cuz I hate it!
ur lazy.
because there are so many other things you could be doing and you're stuck there cleaning clothes.
I must be weird because I actually like doing laundry. And I have to go to a laundromat, too. It gives me a chance to just chill out and read, without having people bugging me, and then my clothes are all nice and clean! =D
Then go out and buy new clothes....just more to wash...
Don't let your laundry run over. Wash more often and it will not be so bad. When you let them pile up it becomes frustrating. The key is to do it a load at a time. Wash at least once a week. 7 to 10 outfits a week in one or two loads. 1 for colors and 1 for whites.
I don't mind putting it in the washer and then the dryer but to have to fold and put away I hate hate hate it
I'd rather do the laundry than wash the dishes
I like it better than cleaning the bathroom.
its not that bad. its only a pain because it takes time out of what your doing
Laundry is only a pain if you don't do it when it needs to be done. I set aside 4 hours a week to make sure I get my laundry done. I do other things while doing the laundry like answering questions like this.
So it really isn't all that painful, just time consuming and people often get distracted with what they are doing rather than making sure the laundry gets done.
It's not that bad. I'd rather do that than cleaning up the room. Hope you have a good job to buy new clothes every week!!

Laundry is a pain in the butt because everyday you wear clothes you are adding to the pile. It never ends. It's a viscious cycle, until the day you die. The only guarantees in life are death, taxes, and laundry. Sorry.
laundry is a pain because of all the damn folding.lol and it takes time, i have better things to do, like answer yahoo questions, LMAO
Well if you don't like doing laundry, don't. Either sucker some one into doing it for you, or just go around in dirty clothes and stink to high heaven.
because there is to much to do and it never stops
It gets confusing when each article of laundry has its own requirements -- hot/cold water, any bleach... -- and you have to group color/white together. On top of that, drying stuff differs.... mainly it is hard to group items of clothing together to make sure they are all washed/dried correctly.
Doing laundry is such a pain in the butt because, well, it just is, that's all. First, sort, then carry, then place, then figure out the proper chemical additives to clean, then wait, then place (dryer), then wait, then wait some more ... then fold fold fold ... mate mate mate ... and that's only one batch ... (whites) ... then colors ... repeat the process ... it's awful just awful ... now ... my solution to all of this ...
Figure out your hourly wage ... what is your time worth per hour ...? Or better still figure out what your time is worth @ time and one-half. Hire someone to do your laundry ... some nice lady ... pay her your hourly wage ... give her a key to your home ... as she does the laundry ... she cleans your home ... you remain at work ... work overtime if necessary ... you are paying her your hourly wage to do your laundry and you are working time and one-half ... perhaps you can find someone to do your laundry for less than your hourly wage ... that way, you are really ahead ...
If you don't have a job ... find something that you like to do ... something that you will be paid to do ... and have someone do all of the pain in the butt things for you ...
That's what I do, silly ... I don't know how to do laundry ... not really ... and it is so lovely to have all of your beautifully folded things simply appear, all put away, clean, organized, kind of like 'magic' ...
Have fun doing the things you love, making money at the same time!
Much better to have laundry to be a pain in the butt than to not wash our clothes and have a smelly butt!
