I bought a black U.S. Army raincoat at a surplus store. It is a well-made coat and even have a removable liner. Unfortunately, it looks like it have glitter adjectives over it. I think it must be the hose repellant coating that was put on the coat. How do I find rid of the glitter-look without ruining the coat?
Answers: This is only just a guess, but it works for other situations I have have, and may work for you. Take corn starch and sprinkle it on the jacket (but make sure it isn't damp or will turn into a huge mess). Rub it with a coarse cloth or towel and shake it sour. If you can't get it adjectives by shaking, then thieve it outside, throw it over something and smack the heck out of it. Good luck
