I was dumb ...?

I spilled some strawberry glaze on the formica countertop and I forgot about it shortly afterwards ... so I didn't clean it up until the next morning when I saw it again.

Now, the counter has a big red spot on it. How can I get it off?

make a thick paste of baking soda & water, and rub it on. It should take it right out.

Other answers:

Lay a facial tissue over it. Pour peroxide on it until it is saturated.
Leave it set over night then wash the counter as usual.
If the stain is not completely gone, repeat.
I have also used club soda for this sort of thing, used the same way.

Gosh, I did something very similar, I did end up getting it off, but I'm not positive of what worked... I want to say either that Orange clean stuff, or a bit of comet using a green scratch pad...
