Go to your local veterinarian and purcase a bottle of Eliminator. It is a spray that uses organic catalysts to remove the urine and odor of cats and dogs from carpet. With the odor removed, they are less likey to use the spot again as a litter box. It will work for human urine, too. They sell other brands at pet stores but we have found that the Eliminator is the best. Good luck
stick with the vinger and water it works, use a scrub brush.
