I don't use anything special for my counters. I usually include them in my dish washing routine and use the cloth I used with my dishes in between my dishes and pots and pans. After the pots and pans it's too icky for my taste. For stains I use baking soda, it removes kool-ade stains no problem.

Clorox with bleach is good, you can get it with out bleach too, but using it woth bleach is a good way to make sure everything is disinfected.
