How do you get the odor of fried bacon out of a room?
Answers:
To get any strong smells out from cooking, I light candles. They can be the smelly kind or plain, either works great to somehow absorb the odors!

paint it
Open the windows and light a Yankee candle, they are the best.
white vinegar
err...I guess you could light an incense stick, or you could use one of those kitchen fans over the stove...like the ones in your bathroom that suck up all the foul air.
Open windows, spray around with Lysol spray, not to worry, the smell of bacon is right in line with comfort food smells. It isn't offensive.
Become a vegetarian, don't make your body a graveyard. Then your house won't smell like one either. Dead pig. Just a suggestion.
Usually airing out the room by opening windows for a day works pretty well. Also washing the dishes, taking out the trash, and cleaning up the kitchen will help. I also use febreze and incense.
I plan to get an air purifier like the ionic breeze, because it neutralizes the odors in a room. The houses I've seen them in always smell very fresh. But they're kind of expensive, so if you can't afford one, the other things I mentioned work pretty well too.
Why would you want to? The smells of bacon, pot roast or other great meals make for a wonderful home feel. If you are insistent to remove all odors, crack the windows, turn on the central, and spray Lysol into the central intake filter. It will remove all, *sniff, sniff,* odors.
bake cookies
I would boil water in a pot and throw in the pot a handful of potpourri (fragrance of your choice)and simmer the mixture for an hour. There would be a nice smell in the room.
now that one is a very good question because my husband cooks bacon now and then and when i come in from work,,i can always tell what he had for dinner, i open a window and light a candle but even that doesn't help much.
white vinegar in a towel and wave the towel in the air where it is most strong.
Try cooking your bacon on a cookie sheet in the oven. Cook it for 10-15 minutes at 400 F, turning once. Keep your eye on it! I do this all the time cuz I hate smelling like bacon grease all day, but I love bacon. You also eliminate the hassle of cleaning the stove top of all that grease. For some reason it doesn't make a mess in the oven like it does on the stove and it doesn't smell up the entire house and everything in it.
leave a bowl of white vinegar with a piece of white bread in it .This will absorb any bad odours.
Try this stuff. It's called approach. www.approachit.net It worked for my best friend deodorizing her house. It's water-based so you can spray it anywhere you can spray water.
The odor can be in the paint or wallpaper, the furniture, everything. Spray anywhere you smell it including absorbing surfaces and that should take care of it.
